Know what could stop the service before you quote.

What it checks

  • Review service constraints in one place.
  • Flag dietary and cold-chain considerations.
  • Identify the blocking issue before quotation.
  • Keep the decision visible to sales and kitchen teams.

One named constraint, with the numbers

The result names the single constraint that blocks the service, with the numbers behind it: eight trolleys needed at peak, five available. Your team can then decide whether to hire equipment, change the menu or decline the job.

When information is missing, Service Gate names the leg it could not check, so the gap is visible before the quote goes out.

Where it sits in the job

Service Gate runs on the proposal, before the quotation is released. It draws on the menu and recipes, your kitchen resources and capacity windows, the crew available, and what your Kitchen Playbook records about the venue. When the event changes later, the check can run again on the new numbers.

The price itself comes from Costing Spine. Dietary information comes from Allergen Chain.

Who decides whether we take the job?

Your team. Service Gate shows the constraint and the evidence behind it.

What happens when venue information is missing?

The leg is named and marked Not checked, so your team can fill the gap.
